The innovative luminaire K-SOLIS was awarded with the renowned German Design Award by the German Design Council back in August 2019.

For the first time, a decorative pendant luminaire combines a homely textile body with professional biorhythmic light quality. The new K-SOLIS from KITEO and Studio Okular therefore simultaneously meets several important requirements for ideal room lighting: in addition to functional basic lighting, it also offers an emotional, decorative design and a healthy lighting effect that is tailored to the human biorhythm.

With the integrated PI LED technology all facets of natural sunlight aswell as RGB can be realistically modelled and thus support the human biorhythm significantly. There is also scope for individual aesthetic preferences due to the opportunity of changing the textile body with any other lampshades at any time.

K-SOLIS is also nominated for the
Iconic Award 2020, the
German Innovation Award 2020 and the
Red Dot Award 2020!
